CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Using a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing systems and products at customer locations.
• Performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Preparing for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• Inspecting vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
• Maintaining vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance.
• Maintaining equipment by inspecting for wear, notifying customers or the Operations Manager of findings.
• Documenting work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Representing the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
• Determining parts needed for repairs and their timeliness.
• Recording parts, materials, labor, and other cost data per assignment, and returning unused resources.
• Submitting all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Staying current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
• Reading and interpreting product specifications.
• Providing technical support to customers.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Regular travel requirements, including some overnight travel as needed.
