Signature Heating, Cooling & Plumbing in Albuquerque, NM is seeking experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians who take pride in diagnosing accurately, performing quality repairs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and upsell services such as indoor air quality, duct cleaning, and system upgrades to improve performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of proven experience as a residential HVAC Technician.
• EPA certification is required.
• Advanced knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles with diagnostic, repair, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
• Recommend and sell additional services such as indoor air quality solutions, duct cleaning, and system upgrades.
• Strengthen customer relationships and exceed customer expectations at every interaction.
• Maintain company vehicle, report mechanical issues, and complete monthly vehicle inspection forms.
• Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Participate in paid training relevant to the HVAC technician role.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
• Recommend and sell additional services such as indoor air quality solutions, duct cleaning, and system upgrades to enhance overall system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Strengthen customer relationships and showcase the company brand by understanding and exceeding their expectations at every interaction.
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Participate in any paid training Signature determines relevant to your HVAC technician role. These trainings may or may not be during normal work hours.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of proven experience as a residential HVAC Technician.
• An EPA certification is required.
• Advanced knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles with the ability to diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot.
• Strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the HVAC field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Enjoy working with people and providing outstanding customer service.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, with a focus on safety and quality in all tasks.
