Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is hiring an HVAC Installer / Service Technician to join a trusted, family-first company serving Southern MN and Northern IA. You will install, inspect, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings, travel locally, and discuss solutions with customers.

Hourly pay ranges from $24 to $40 DOE, with year-end bonuses and on-call compensation. Benefits include a company vehicle, 401(k), health/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• HVAC servicing experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled.
• Consult with customers to determine needs and discuss solutions.
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect existing HVAC systems for safety and efficiency.
• Conduct performance tests with specialized tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend system longevity.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues.
• Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to customers.
• Maintain inventory, records, and customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
• Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled
• Perform consultations with customers to determine needs and discuss solutions
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Inspect existing HVAC systems for safety and efficiency
• Conduct performance tests using specialized tools (Including: Manometer, Anemometer, Temperature Probes/Thermometers, Humidity Meters/Psychrometers, Refrigerant Gauges (Manifold Gauges), Combustion Analyzer, Infrared Camera (Thermal Imager), Multimeter/Clamp Meter, Leak Detector (Refrigerant Leak Detector), Particle Counter)
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend system longevity
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system issues
• Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to customers
• Maintain accurate inventory, records, and customer transactions

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• At least 2 year of HVAC servicing experience

• Extensive experience handling, installing, and repairing HVAC equipment
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Comfortable working on ladders, at various heights, confined spaces, and small crawl spaces
