Job summary

DynaTen Corporation is seeking an HVAC Service Technician I to join our Fort Worth operation. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing HVAC systems for commercial clients, with opportunities for long-term growth in service operations.

You will work directly with customers, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to safe, high-quality service delivery. The position emphasizes reliability and a strong safety mindset in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification and Texas TDLR Registration required.
• Fundamentals of HVAC principles and components.
• Experience with routine maintenance: filters, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks.
• Basic electrical and mechanical work knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with HVAC maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement.
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues to correct mechanical failures.
• Maintain safety practices and serve as customer contact.
• Perform preventative maintenance on small RTUs and split systems (≤10 tons).
• Complete service calls and routine maintenance tasks.
• Communicate maintenance needs to customers; handle minor repairs under supervision.

Position Summary

DynaTen is seeking a HVAC Service Technician I to join our team! This is a critical position that will be highly visible in our operation. You will help execute our organization’s strategic goals and manage key customer relationships. Additionally, this is a position that offers long-term career growth in service operations and beyond.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Work directly with and assist customers with their HVAC maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement needs
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues to correct mechanical failures
• Focus on safety and model best safety practices for our team members
• Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact
• Preventative Maintenance on small RTU's and split systems, 10 tons and below
• Complete service calls
• Perform routine maintenance and service calls
• Communicate with customers regarding routine maintenance and minor issues
• Handles minor repairs under supervision
• Positively and professionally represent the DynaTen name and brand to our customers

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of HVAC service experience
• Basic system knowledge, including understanding fundamentals of HVAC principles, identifying major components, and air conditioning systems
• 1-2 years of experience with conducting routine maintenance, such as filter changes, coil cleaning and checking refrigerant levels.
• 1-2 years experience with basic electrical and mechanical work, including the use of multimeter and basic hand tools to check voltages, capacitors and electrical circuits.
• Different types of HVAC systems, including residential and light commercial units
• Possess EPA Certification and Texas TDLR Registration
• Proven technical capabilities delivered with customer service in mind
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
