Job description

Position Summary

DynaTen is seeking a HVAC Service Technician IV to join our team. This critical position is highly visible in our operations and will help execute our organization’s strategic goals and manage key customer relationships. The role offers long-term career growth in service operations and beyond.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Work directly with and assist customers with HVAC maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement needs.
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues to correct mechanical failures.
• Focus on safety and model best safety practices for team members.
• Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
• Work on Screw Chillers, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Flakt and Joy fans, and Pneumatic Systems.
• Mentor other technicians.
• Work on high‑end commercial, industrial, or specialized HVAC applications such as refrigeration, chillers, boilers, or building automation.
• Positively and professionally represent the DynaTen name and brand to customers.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of HVAC service experience.
• Master-Level System Expertise, including high‑efficiency, multi‑zone, and industrial grade equipment.
• 10 years of experience with troubleshooting & repairs, including diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• 5 years of experience with Advanced Controls & Automation, advanced knowledge in Building Automation Systems, including work with Direct Digital Control systems for high‑efficiency climate controls.
• Possess EPA Universal Certification and Texas TDLR Registration.
• Proven technical capabilities delivered with customer service in mind.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to integrity and quality.
