Job summary

DynaTen Corporation is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure accurate and timely billing of service work. The role involves handling invoices, reviewing work orders, and supporting both customers and internal teams with billing inquiries.

This position reports to the Service Customer Experience Team Manager and sits in a professional Fort Worth office environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in billing/AR, strong Excel skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of billing, accounts receivable, or related experience.
• Experience interpreting customer requirements and purchase orders.
• Proficiency with Excel, PDF documents, portals, and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and professional communication.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced facility services environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up in-system billing requirements based on customer instructions, perform quality review of work orders, and create purchase orders.
• Prepare quoted and time-and-material invoices from service work orders.
• Review labor, materials, equipment and service charges for accuracy, prior to invoicing.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with customers, service managers, and operations teams.
• Provide professional customer service regarding invoices and account questions.
• Maintain complete billing files and support collections, closeout, audits, and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Billing Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely billing of service work. The role manages service invoices, reviews technician work orders, submits invoices through third party customer portals, resolves billing discrepancies, and supports customers and internal teams with billing inquiries. This position reports to the Service Customer Experience Team Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare quoted and time-and-material invoices from service work orders.
• Review labor, materials, equipment and service charges for accuracy, prior to invoicing.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of billing, accounts receivable, or closely related experience.
• Experience interpreting and handling customer requirements, and purchase orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PDF documents, customer portals, and accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, organization, and professional customer communication.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced facility services environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC/plumbing experience.
• Experience with COINS, Procore, Textura, Workday, or similar systems.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment. The employee regularly uses a computer, telephone, and standard office equipment and may sit or stand for extended periods. The role requires frequent communication, close visual work, and occasional movement of office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
