Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair residential systems with quality and care. You’ll inspect ducting, wire and commission systems, and communicate clearly with homeowners and dispatch.

You will diagnose issues, provide repair options, and perform start-up testing to verify proper operation while keeping tools and work areas organized and safe. A valid driver's license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Solid soldering/brazing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work overtime with short notice; occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems with quality and care.
• Inspect ducting and keep company tools and materials in service-ready condition.
• Wire, commission, and start up complete residential systems.
• Diagnose issues, recommend options, and complete effective repairs to restore performance.
• Execute start-up testing and record results to verify proper operation.
• Perform thorough system inspections and communicate any concerns to dispatch/customers.
