Job summary

Champion AC in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will diagnose furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless units, ensuring safety and quality while keeping customers comfortable year-round.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of service experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC service experience with diagnostics.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics/crawlspaces/outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Flexible and able to work on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Communicate issues and solutions clearly to customers.
• Keep accurate service records via software or tickets.
• Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and installation teams.
• Educate customers on operation and energy-saving tips.
