IRVING HAASE AND COMPANY seeks an experienced HVAC Service/Sales Manager to lead the service team, drive field sales, and grow the business across New York City. The role combines hands-on operations with strategic growth, mentoring staff, and maintaining quality customer service.

The position is based in Queens with work across NYC; a strong technical HVAC background and proven leadership are essential, along with full-time availability and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Proven HVAC service management and sales experience, including outside/territory sales.
• Strong HVAC technical knowledge across installation and maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to build a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in preparing proposals and managing sales pipelines with CRM software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites; certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with HVAC industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily HVAC service team operations, ensuring safety and policies.
• Manage project timelines for installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Lead lead generation and field sales to grow the business.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on detailed HVAC proposals and quotes.
• Collaborate with sales to upsell and implement retail/inside sales strategies.
• Visit sites to assess client needs and design HVAC solutions.
• Recruit, train, and mentor service and sales staff; drive performance reviews.
• Track service calls, inventory, and maintenance records using software.
• Maintain client/manufacturer/supplier relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Work with senior management on growth plans including market expansion.
