Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Service Project Sales Representative to identify, estimate, propose, and close service-based project opportunities within existing and new client accounts. This role emphasizes equipment retrofits, system upgrades, code modifications, and other revenue-generating service work beyond standard maintenance contracts.

You will collaborate with service technicians and field supervisors, prepare accurate scopes and proposals, and maintain a strong project pipeline to meet sales

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial HVAC/R or mechanical construction sales.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and retrofit project solutions.
• MEP pricing/estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with effective time management.
• Proficiency with estimating tools, MS Office, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial clients to uncover service project opportunities.
• Collaborate with service technicians and field supervisors to identify deficiencies or client needs.
• Prepare scopes of work, estimates, and proposals for service-related projects.
• Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and technical consultations for information gathering.
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and execution of projects.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team growth.
• Maintain records of sales activity and project pipeline in CRM.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive activity.
