Job summary

United Mechanical is seeking a Project Engineer - HVAC Service to support planning and execution of commercial HVAC and Plumbing service projects from coordination to closeout.

You will link field operations with project management, coordinating schedules, materials, documentation, and communications with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver quality mechanical solutions that meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or related field experience) in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Construction Management.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems incl. ductwork, piping, refrigeration, energy efficiency.
• Basic understanding of mechanical service processes and industry standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution: assist with planning, scheduling, coordinating HVAC and Plumbing service projects.
• Coordinate materials & deliveries: assist procurement of equipment, tools, materials, and align schedules.
• Maintain project documentation: organize submittals, drawings, RFIs, change orders, schedules, meeting notes, startup reports.
• Connect office & field teams: communicate with field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
