Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is a full-service HVAC contractor delivering turnkey in-house design and energy solutions for commercial facilities. We seek an experienced technician to install, commission, and service HVAC systems on-site, including RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on experience, a Universal CFC certification, and the ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in maintaining similar commercial equipment.
• Current Universal CFC certification is required.
• Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and attics.
• Understand basic electrical circuits and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC units, brazing, line sets, trimming refrigerant and charging.
• Install piping: drain piping, p-traps, water lines, gas lines, valves and actuators.
• Install coils, compressors, condensers, fans, motors and industrial air compressors.
• Perform start up, testing and commissioning on RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs and swamp coolers.
• Test lines and joints for leaks; repair defective joints.
• Perform preventative maintenance: vacuuming, cleaning, filters, oiling.
