Job summary

SSH Real Estate is seeking an HVAC Service Mechanic to join a family-oriented team in the Brandamore area. The position involves performing maintenance, diagnostics, and installation on residential HVAC systems with an emphasis on oil and gas equipment, while delivering excellent customer service and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in all aspects of residential HVAC, including EPA Certification.
• Must have experience doing service and repair on oil and gas units.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend repairs.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment and components.
• Complete work orders with accurate documentation and notes promptly.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks (filters, coils, lubrication, belt replacement).
• Maintain inventory of tools and materials in service vehicles.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on residential HVAC systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment and components.
• Complete all work orders with accurate documentation and notes promptly
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks (e.g., filter changes, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement).
• Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and equipment in service vehicles.
• Clearly maintain regular communication with dispatch

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in all aspects of residential HVAC, including EPA Certification
• Must have experience doing service and repair on oil and gas units.
• Possess a set of basic hand tools
• Must possess a hardworking, dependable, and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Clean driving record, criminal record and the ability to pass a drug screening
• Computer, phone, and written skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead, climb ladders, and work at heights (e.g., rooftops).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the day.
