ARS-Rescue Rooter in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our residential HVAC service department, manage technicians, and drive high-quality heating and air conditioning service operations.

You will hire, schedule, train, coach, and monitor budgets, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This role offers strong benefits and a take-home company vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3 years of HVAC service management experience
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and codes
• 6-8 years of HVAC service experience; related training or equivalent
• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Strong leadership, communication, computer, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage people, operations, and budgets

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and develop our residential HVAC service department, manage HVAC technicians, and ensure high-quality heating and air conditioning service operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HVAC service team, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
• Evaluates workload and schedules service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits, which includes managing labor expenses to stay within budget guidelines.
• Ensure HVAC service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Achieves monthly budgeted revenue.
• Oversee daily operations of residential HVAC service calls and repairs
• Monitor labor costs, materials, equipment, and expenses to maintain service department profitability
• Conduct job site inspections and ensure compliance with HVAC codes and safety standards

• Track department operations including technician productivity, tools, vehicles, and equipment

• Provide hands‑on training and development for HVAC service technicians

• Lead regular technician meetings and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs. Schedules repairs for parts to ensure minimal down‑time in job completion. Manages material expense to stay within budget.
• Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly and that record keeping is in compliance.
• May conduct job site inspections.
• Assists the dispatching operation to ensure appropriate technician selection for type of service.
• Monitors preventive maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Provides on-the-job training and support to employees.
• Oversees facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled.
• Observes all safety and Company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Follow the guidelines for the Senior Care, Ethics, and Quality Assurance Process.
• Oversees the Tech Turnover Process. Achieving the budgeted/managed KPI’s by call type.
• Conduct weekly meetings with Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3 years of HVAC service management experience

• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems, heating and air conditioning service, and HVAC code compliance

• 6-8 years of experience in HVAC service. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

• Strong leadership, communication, computer, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage people, operations, and budgets effectively
