Job summary

Powder River Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in Sheridan, WY is hiring an HVAC Service / Maintenance Technician to service residential, commercial and light industrial systems.

You will diagnose, repair and maintain heating and cooling equipment, read wiring diagrams and blueprints, and communicate repair options to customers. The company provides dealer training and opportunities for professional growth; overtime is available and a company vehicle with gas card is provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience in residential, commercial or light industrial settings.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and blueprints; troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC service, diagnostics, repair and routine maintenance for residential, commercial and light industrial systems.
• Communicate repair options, upgrades and timelines to customers.
• Work with Carrier, Rinnai, PK and other equipment brands as needed.
• Participate in in-house and dealer training programs for professional growth.

HVAC Service / Maintenance Technician| $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm | overtime available

Locations: Sheridan and Gillette WY

Position Overview:

• Residential, commercial and light industrial HVAC Service
• Diagnostics, repair and routine maintenance on HVAC heating and cooling Systems
• Communication with customers about repair, replacement and upgrades
• Company paid training and dealer training to facilitate and promote professional and personal growth
• Carrier, Rinnai, PK, and other dealers equipment

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of HVAC service experience
• Experience in residential / commercial and / or light industrial service
• Annual maintenance experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
• Possess tools needed
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School -Desired
