Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking experienced HVAC Mechanics in Irving, Texas to support our fast-growing HVAC business. Ideal candidates will have at least eight years of mechanical troubleshooting experience in commercial and industrial settings.

The position offers an hourly pay rate of $43.05, determined by collective bargaining agreements, and requires a Universal EPA refrigerants license. Mechanics will maintain equipment, service clients, and ensure the efficiency of HVAC systems while prioritizing safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficiency in repairing centrifugal compressors and steam turbines.
• Ability to provide quotes to customers and participate in service rewards program.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement on commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and install mechanical systems including chillers and rooftop units.
• Provide high-level customer service and solutions to efficiency issues.
