Job summary

Shearer Heating A/C and Refrigeration seeks an HVAC Service and Maintenance Technician to service residential and light commercial systems. You will dispatch from home to calls, diagnose problems, and perform repairs, maintenance, and customer education in Washington, PA.

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $25-$30 depending on experience, plus a strong benefits package and ongoing training opportunities. This role includes an on-call rotation and regular daytime hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVACR experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch from home to assigned service and maintenance calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVACR equipment, including air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Perform maintenance and identify issues that need attention.
• Explain findings, solutions, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Use a tablet to prepare accurate quotes, document work, and collect payments.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.

HVAC Service and Maintenance Technician

Location: Washington, PA | Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; on-call rotation

Pay: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience

We are hiring an HVAC Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair equipment for residential and light commercial customers. You will dispatch from home, use your technical skills to address issues, and help customers make informed decisions.

Compensation

$25-$30 per hour depending on experience
