Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a leading innovator in climate and energy solutions, seeks a Commercial HVAC Service Agreement Sales Specialist. You will drive recurring revenue, build relationships, and secure long-term service agreements.

Based in the field, the role covers St. Louis, MO and Des Moines, IA, leveraging Salesforce to manage pipeline and cross-functional collaboration to deliver service contracts that improve building performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of commercial HVAC sales or related experience.
• Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs., climb ladders/stairs, and work safely around rooftops, mechanical rooms, and elevated platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, research, and qualify potential clients using Carrier’s installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor sites.
• Perform facility walkthroughs to assess equipment, evaluate customer needs, and present tailored service agreement proposals.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to log activities, manage opportunity strategies, track backlog, and maintain accurate sales forecasting.
• Partner closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service agreement delivery and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Make effective sales presentations, conduct customer needs assessment, answer questions and secure new customer service agreements.
