Job summary

F.H. Furr is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician to diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and to identify and sell optimal upgrades during service calls. This on-site role reports to the Rockville, MD location and offers a lucrative compensation package with a signing and annual license bonus.

With 2+ years of HVAC experience, candidates should be sales-driven, technically skilled, and customer-focused. EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in residential HVAC service, repair, or sales.
• Strong technical skills to diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC issues.
• Sales-driven mindset with confidence to recommend and sell new systems during service calls.
• Excellent communication to explain technical issues to homeowners.
• EPA certification (NATE a plus) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Identify opportunities for system replacements when beneficial.
• Educate customers on options and provide honest recommendations.
• Sell new systems on the spot when appropriate to meet customer needs.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds long-term trust.
