Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician to advance from service to sales or to enhance an existing sales tech role. The position offers an hourly base rate with commissions, bonuses, and spiffs on top of the hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.
• Be thorough in inspections, and accurate in quoting replacements or repairs.
• Completion of proposed work as quoted.
• Participate in all required staff meetings and training sessions.
• Positive attitude required and must be able to promote a professional, and friendly work environment.

• Consistently sell equipment, accessories and other promotional material from the company.

Responsibilities

• Determine residential HVAC service needs and perform repairs while engaging customers in homes and businesses.
• Understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems and basic repairs.
• Receive training to expand knowledge and certifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems and install IAQ products per codes and manufacturer specs.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 25 lbs and work on ladders and in tight spaces.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively; comply with safety standards.
