Job summary

Always Air Services, part of Seacoast Service Partners, is seeking an HVAC Selling Service Technician in Port Charlotte, FL. This role combines technical HVAC work with consultative selling to help homeowners improve comfort and efficiency.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, diagnosing and repairing issues, presenting trustworthy estimates, and collaborating with the team to close opportunities. On-call one month per year is included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC service experience required with EPA certification.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain pricing and technical information clearly.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to work independently, lift equipment, and work outdoors or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspect HVAC systems and ductwork to identify repair, comfort, efficiency, and replacement needs.
• Diagnose problems, complete repairs, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare and present estimate options for HVAC equipment, ductwork, and accessories, recommending and selling solutions based on homeowner needs.
• Coordinate with teammates to follow through on identified opportunities and support branch growth.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation once a month.
• Document completed work and customer decisions, maintain company vehicles and tools, and follow safety and PPE requirements.
