Job summary

Yellowstone Local represents HVAC Cowboys in Spicewood, TX, and seeks an HVAC Sales Representative to evaluate homeowner needs and recommend premium heating and cooling solutions. The role focuses on consultative sales of Mitsubishi and Carrier systems, sizing and efficiency, with a commission-based compensation structure.

You will collaborate with field technicians and operations to ensure seamless project handoffs, build long-term customer relationships, and deliver tailored comfort solutions

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC sales experience
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC system design and equipment sizing
• Experience selling Mitsubishi and/or Carrier HVAC equipment
• Knowledge of Manual J load calculations
• Knowledge of HVAC airflow design and requirements
• Understanding of heat pump systems and applications
• Familiarity with high-end residential comfort systems
• Strong consultative selling, communication, presentation, and closing skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Previous HVAC Service Technician experience before transitioning into sales is preferred
• Experience working alongside HVAC installation and service teams is preferred

Responsibilities

• Work as an HVAC Sales Representative based in Spicewood, TX
• Meet with homeowners to evaluate HVAC replacement and system upgrade opportunities
• Design and recommend residential heating and cooling solutions tailored to each property
• Sell premium HVAC equipment, including Mitsubishi and Carrier systems
• Perform or interpret Manual J load calculations and HVAC equipment sizing requirements
• Evaluate airflow, heat pump applications, energy efficiency, and overall system performance
• Clearly explain HVAC system options and technical recommendations to homeowners
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions using technical knowledge and consultative sales skills
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians, installers, and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
• Develop lasting customer relationships through professionalism, communication, and HVAC expertise
