Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Irving, TX is offering a Summer 2027 HVAC Sales Internship (Project Engineer) for students graduating Dec 2027 or May/June 2028. You will coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing and ship dates while collaborating with the Sales Team, Customers and Manufacturers in a fast-paced environment.

As an intern, you’ll create and maintain project files, support product selection and specifications, and manage multiple projects from office to field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, estimating, engineering, construction management or contracting environment.
• Familiarity with CAD and MS Office applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project files for each HVAC project.
• Optimize projects through product selection, specs, plans, estimates, proposals.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Organize data for order entry.
• Respond to IOM and Submittal requests.
• Read and interpret building plans and specs.
• Develop relationships with customers, contractors and manufacturers.
• Determine project requirements and sales responsibilities.
• Investigate concerns and implement corrective actions to maximize satisfaction.
• Work in office and field as needed.
