Job Expectations
  • Secure sales through cold calls, site visits, and existing customers.
  • Maintain a positive outlook to maximize commercial maintenance sales.
  • Build relationships with clients, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
  • Conduct site visits, assess HVAC needs, and recommend products/services.
  • Prepare proposals, close sales, and negotiate contracts.
  • Respond to inquiries and perform sales duties as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Meet sales goals and identify new business opportunities.
  • Track sales-related leads and opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and build relationships with suppliers.
  • Improve sales and HVAC knowledge through training and self-study.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Desired Attributes
  • Proven HVAC sales experience, especially in commercial systems.
  • Strong lead generation, closing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical specs.
  • Physically able to work in field conditions.
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license and insurability.
  • 2+ years of post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or related fields.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HVAC software, and related tools.
