Job summary

R3 Heating & Air (A Division of R3 Roofing & Exteriors) is hiring a motivated Sales Manager to drive HVAC sales and oversee installations from start to finish. You’ll combine technical HVAC knowledge with strong sales and customer service to lead projects.

Based in the Davenport area, this full-time, field-based role calls for proactive prospecting, in-home consultations, compelling proposals, and close collaboration with install teams to deliver 5-star service and measurable KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in HVAC or similar industry
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or CRM systems is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Prospect new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound leads. Respond quickly to inquiries and build long-term relationships with homeowners.
• In-Home Consultations: Conduct site visits to assess HVAC needs, system requirements, and home conditions.
• Proposal Development & Quoting: Create professional proposals and present at least three options that align with customer preferences. Highlight system features, energy efficiency, and financing opportunities. Use ServiceTitan to document all proposals and maintain your sales pipeline.
• Negotiate terms and guide customers through contracts, financing, warranties, and membership programs. Strive to meet and exceed personal and team sales goals.
• Coordinate with install teams, dispatch, and office staff to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to install. Maintain clear communication throughout the project. Assist Service Manager and training technicians to upsell.
• Stay current on all HVAC products, warranties, rebates, and codes. Attend training and manufacturer sessions to maintain knowledge and improve sales performance.
• Customer Experience & Satisfaction: Maintain a clean vehicle, dress professionally, arrive on time, and follow up after installations to ensure 5-star customer service. Handle any post-install issues and earn referrals through service excellence.
