ModernControls is seeking a driven Sales Executive to develop new commercial/industrial HVAC preventative maintenance customers in our Pennsylvania territory. The role emphasizes identifying owner-direct prospects for service work and maintenance contracts, with a base salary plus commission.

Qualifications

• Experience in Industrial/Commercial HVAC, Building Automation Systems is a plus!
• History of successful cold calling and appointment setting
• Efficient in Microsoft Products
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and balance several customers/projects at a time

Responsibilities

• Make daily outbound calls and in-person visits to conduct site surveys and draft preventive maintenance proposals.
• Prospect, cold-call and network to develop leads and sales opportunities.
• Negotiate price and terms of maintenance contracts with decision-makers to close the sale.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat customers.
• Conduct price estimates and quotations for projects and preventive maintenance contracts.
• Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts in CRM database.
• Coordinate and attend site reviews and walkthroughs as required.
• Follow-up on sales leads and lists generated by management and others.
• Participate in opportunities to advance the company’s interests and personal interests including training, business development meetings, and networking associations.
• Achieve sales and gross margin goals while providing customers with superior value and service.
• Microsoft Office skills required.
