Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field.
• Five years of experience in engineering systems or related field.
• Two years in HVAC equipment sales or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC concepts and operations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans and manuals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and strengthen relationships with customers.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to evaluate urgency and prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support mechanical engineers with HVAC equipment application engineering and equipment selections for project-specific applications.
• Deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers and prospects.
• Understand design criteria and budget to propose solutions that meet indoor environment goals.
• Support contractors with information, expertise and service to ensure optimal owner solutions at competitive costs.
• Collaborate with controls or balancing contractors to aid installation and commissioning teams.
• Work with the sales team to coordinate activities and share opportunities.
