Job summary

Boston Standard Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Consultant to meet homeowners, assess comfort needs, and recommend HVAC solutions for homes. The role involves presenting estimates, financing options, and educating customers on equipment choices.

You will manage leads, follow up to maintain a strong pipeline, and collaborate with installation and operations teams for smooth handoffs to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• HVAC or home services industry experience required.
• Residential in-home sales experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and replacement options.
• ServiceTitan experience required.
• Proven ability to close sales and meet revenue goals.
• Comfortable discussing financing and presenting multiple options.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organized with excellent follow-up.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Run company-provided residential HVAC sales leads.
• Meet with homeowners and assess their HVAC needs.
• Recommend replacement and upgrade options including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, and central AC systems.
• Prepare and present estimates and financing options.
• Educate customers and clearly explain equipment and system options.
• Follow up with customers and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Accurately document leads, estimates, follow-ups, and sold jobs in ServiceTitan.
• Work closely with installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff.
• Meet or exceed sales, revenue, and close-rate goals.

Boston Standard is looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Consultant to meet with homeowners, understand their comfort needs, and recommend the right HVAC solutions for their homes.
