Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our Cedar Falls store. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems using a range of tools, while following safety policies to ensure high standards of facility performance.

You will work with the store facilities team, respond to maintenance requests, and document activities in the work order system. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant handling certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience is required.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training and follow Walmart safety guidelines.
