Job summary

Walmart seeks a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local store team in Cedar Falls, IA. You will support and oversee refrigeration and HVAC repairs, using commercial skills and various tools to complete jobs efficiently.

The role requires extensive experience in grocery rack refrigeration, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You will operate with safety policies, assist Stores, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use work orders to manage repairs and document activities for Stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
