Walmart is expanding our local retail store teams and seeks a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. The role supports repair and maintenance of refrigeration HVAC systems across Walmart facilities, using hand, digital and power tools to complete tasks.

Candidates should have 2+ years in commercial refrigeration maintenance and EPA refrigerant handling certification. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, following safety guidelines, and documenting repairs in the work

Qualifications

2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal for Refrigerant handling.
Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools.
Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and associates.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
Complete required training to operate tools safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policies.
