Job summary

Walmart is seeking a skilled commercial refrigeration HVAC technician to maintain and repair facility systems. You will use hand tools, power tools, and digital devices to complete jobs and document repair activities in the work order system.

You will respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, inspect and test equipment to diagnose issues, and perform work safely in accordance with OSHA, EPA regulations and Walmart policies. Lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman Qualification or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions in the last 5 years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last 3 years.
• Age 18 or older; high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Perform work in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policy, and environmental guidelines.
