Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair the facility's refrigeration systems. You will handle repair Work Orders through the system and respond promptly to emergencies, inspecting and testing equipment to diagnose issues.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Option 1: 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration
• Option 2: 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area or 2 years’ Walmart store experience
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
• Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations
