Job summary

Walmart is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to keep refrigeration and climate control systems running at peak performance in its stores. You will work on large-scale rack refrigeration systems to maintain optimal conditions for fresh products and customer comfort.

Responsibilities include repair and preventive maintenance, responding to emergencies, and documenting actions in the work order system. OSHA/EPA compliance and safety training are required; you must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and

Qualifications

2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for Refrigerant handling.
Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
Use the work order system to manage repair work orders and document activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart safety policies and guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
