Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC systems in our Omaha-area stores. You will use commercial HVAC skills and a range of tools while documenting activities in the work order system.

The role includes responding to emergencies, frequent safety training, and operating at heights with physical capability. Qualified candidates have 2+ years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair work orders.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart policies.
Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
