Job summary

Kroger is seeking a skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to provide equipment, refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls at Fort Wayne stores. The role emphasizes safety, respect and integrity in line with Kroger's core values.

You will drive to stores daily, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair systems, manage parts inventory and document labor and parts usage.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• Supervisory experience in maintenance or trades preferred.
• EPA Type 2 Certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores daily as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and procedures.
• Repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and repair issues.
• Maintain inventory of parts.
• Operate vehicles and lift equipment safely.
• Complete repair, labor, and parts documentation in a timely fashion.
