Job summary

Kroger in Compton, CA is seeking an experienced HVAC/refrigeration technician to provide equipment, refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

This role requires driving to stores daily, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, replacing components, maintaining inventory, and documenting repairs.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores daily as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and procedures.
• Repair HVAC/refrigeration systems and components.
• Navigate electronic controls interfaces and diagnose issues.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
