Job summary

Kroger is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide equipment, refrigeration and HVAC maintenance and repair across assigned stores in Las Vegas. You will drive to locations, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues and document all work with accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, 3–5 years HVAC experience, EPA Type 2 Certification and a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends and holidays. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• Supervisory experience or potential for supervisory duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis and respond to service calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and procedures.
• Repair refrigeration/HVAC systems and associated components.
• Navigate and operate electronic controls interfaces.
• Document repair labor, parts and usage in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform equipment repairs.
• Replace compressors, large motors and components as needed.
• Maintain organized inventory of parts and tools.
