Job Description Summary

Our Lynn, MA site is looking for licensed HVAC refrigeration techs. In this role, you will maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, and install HVAC systems and equipment in the facility.

Pay and Work Schedule

Competitive starting pay at $40.00 per hour.
1st Shift, full time, Monday‑Friday. No required weekends.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment (rooftop units, chilled water systems, split systems, cooling towers, air handlers, pneumatic controls).
• Maintain, repair, and complete preventative maintenance on refrigeration units.
• Perform related work such as installation of compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls, circulating fans, and other related duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Massachusetts Refrigeration License and Recovery Certification (apprentices not accepted).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams.
• Assemble, lift, move, and manipulate fixtures and component hardware up to 30 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodations).
• Ability to work in confined areas, off ladders, platforms, and heights.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience as a refrigeration mechanic in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Understanding of safety rules in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of large industrial equipment installation and Massachusetts regulations.
• Strong HVAC control and electrical/mechanical abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed plans, specifications, operating manuals, and trade materials.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work with customers.
