Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and relevant field experience.
• Option 2: 4 years’ mechanical maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical journeyman where required.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• No major accidents in last 3 years.
• No serious FMCSA violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems and ductwork.
• Configure and calibrate low ambient systems and direct digital controls.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across facilities.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate service calls and manage parts, refrigerants, and documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and building codes.
