Job summary

Nestlé USA is hiring an Industrial Utilities/HVAC-R Technician for 3rd shift to support ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and utilities at our Wisconsin facility. The role involves service, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance with on-the-job and classroom training provided.

Starting pay is $35.64 per hour, with a $1.50 shift premium. Quarterly bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package are included, along with opportunities for career growth and professional certification support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience or education in HVAC/R preferred.
• RETA-CARO certification preferred, or certification within first year of employment.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Good communication and teamwork with all departments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or the organization.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing large HVAC/R equipment.
• Process Glycol chillers and boilers.
• Steam boilers and chemistry control.
• Water Systems and chemistry control.
• Reverse Osmosis System, softeners, filters.
• Glyco heat exchange.
• Compressed Air Systems.
• Make Air Units.
• Maintain equipment logs and reports utilizing computerized maintenance systems.
