Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Dickson, TN is hiring a Developmental Technician for Facility Services HVAC/R to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and system updates across multiple stores.

Under supervision, you will use HVAC/R knowledge to assist with rooftops, coils, and building controls while following safety policies and environmental regulations. You will document work, coordinate with managers, colleagues and vendors, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years Walmart store experience.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI/OUI convictions in last 5 years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Completes required paperwork and submits forms to leadership.
• Gathers capital expenditures lists and updates HVAC/R scopes of work.
• Performs major and minor preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots HVAC/R problems across facilities.
• Adheres to OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Coordinates maintenance with managers, coworkers, and vendors.
