Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Developmental Technician, Facility Services HVAC/R, to support maintenance and repair across multiple facilities. You will handle documentation, assist with capital expenditure planning, and perform preventive maintenance under supervision.

The team focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while delivering reliable facilities operations and cost-effective energy management.

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain Universal or Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit required documentation (expense vouchers, refrigerant logs, work orders).
• Assist in gathering capital expenditure lists and scopes for HVAC/R updates.
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC/R equipment under supervision.
• Collaborate with management, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities and communicate progress.
• Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance by following safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain company vehicles and coordinate maintenance/inspections.
• Adapt to change and support continuous improvement initiatives.
