Kennedy Mechanical is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our Rochester, NY team in a full-time role. You will install HVAC equipment, wire low and line voltage, read blueprints, and ensure proper sizing and setup in both light commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of HVAC related equipment.
• Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Ensure proper sizing, placement, and setup of equipment.
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
• Perform installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings.
• Fabricate/ connection of gas lines to heating equipment.
• Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time.
• Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
