Job summary

CoolSys is seeking an experienced Service Tech 4 – HVAC to maintain, repair, and install HVAC systems. You'll troubleshoot complex issues, mentor juniors, and ensure efficient operation across projects in various settings.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/refrigeration, chiller expertise, and strong knowledge of electrical controls. A valid EPA certificate and a clean driving record are essential for field work and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in construction HVAC, refrigeration, or related industry.
• Must have chiller experience.
• Troubleshooting electrical control systems required.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and refrigeration piping.
• Ability to read refrigeration, electrical and plumbing blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul equipment like compressors, water pumps, air handlers in a safe, efficient manner.
• Perform refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment service and preventative maintenance.
• Process job tickets and coordinate with departments in a timely manner.
• Train junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain truck inventory and operate company vehicle safely.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.
