Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Service Tech 3 – HVAC to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and guide junior technicians to ensure systems run efficiently.

The role requires an AA degree, EPA certification, and 3–5 years of relevant experience, including ice machines and walk-ins, with strong electrical control systems skills. Customer service and safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• AA degree from an accredited vocational/technical or junior college is required.
• EPA certification is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction HVAC, refrigeration, or related industries.
• Ice machine and walk-in experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC units at customer sites.
• Service commercial HVAC units.
• Change compressors, fans, and reclaim refrigerant.
• Maintain legible records of work history; report to supervisor as scheduled.
