Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot leaks, replace components, and document work using a handheld computer.

Requirements include 5 years in the field (or 3 years with a Technical School certification), EPA 608 Universal, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work nights/weekends;

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• 5 years in the field or 3 years with Technical School certification (external candidates).
• Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air‑conditioning systems.
• Detect and repair leaks; replace motors and components.
• Complete service tickets and use handheld computer for paperwork.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to vehicle maintenance program.
