Job summary

North Idaho College is seeking an experienced HVAC/R professional who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping students develop hands-on skills as the HVAC/R Lab Instructional Coordinator. You will spend at least half your time providing lab instruction and hands-on guidance in the lab.

You will coordinate lab schedules, maintain equipment, support lab safety, and collaborate with NIC’s Workforce Training Center and other campus programs, while engaging with industry partners and vendors to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years HVAC/R experience.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to students.
• Commitment to safety in lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide lab instruction and hands-on guidance at least 50% of time.
• Maintain equipment and tools; support labsafety.
• Coordinate lab schedules and resources; collaborate with faculty and campus programs.
• Engage with industry partners and external groups to support lab operations.
