Job summary

North Idaho College is seeking an Assistant Professor - HVAC to teach in-person and online HVAC courses, lead hands‑on labs, advise students, and connect classroom concepts to field practice. The role includes maintaining lab equipment and participating in program development with industry partners.

Evening or weekend teaching may be required to meet schedule needs. The ideal candidate brings strong HVAC technical knowledge, classroom communication skills, and a passion for mentoring the next

Qualifications

• Eight years of related experience or an Associate’s degree with six years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience.
• Journeyman level status or industry certification, with Idaho CTE certification within first year.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC courses in person, online, and interactive formats.
• Advise students and develop curriculum, materials, and syllabi.
• Maintain and improve HVAC lab equipment and environment.
• Engage with industry partners and support student recruitment.
