Job summary

Renown Health is seeking an experienced HVACR technician to maintain and operate all HVACR equipment, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and patient/staff comfort. You will troubleshoot, repair and operate DX, steam, hot water and chilled water systems while coordinating shutdowns with affected departments.

The role requires five years journeyman HVAC&R experience, knowledge of blueprints, direct digital control, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Five years journeyman level experience in HVAC&R preferred.
• Knowledge of steam, water hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic controls.
• Ability to read blueprints or diagrams and troubleshoot accordingly.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Familiarity with Building Automation Systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate HVACR equipment to ensure indoor air quality.
• Troubleshoot, repair and operate HVAC systems including DX, steam, hot water and chilled water.
• Coordinate equipment shutdowns with affected departments for maintenance.
• Follow department policies and procedures; escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Ensure energy conservation and minimize equipment downtime.
